WIP: The Death of Jenny Halifax

When Jenny Halifax died her best friend Elvis Jones did what he could to keep her dead. He made sure her hair is braided tight against her skull, her fine straight hair in a hundred small and slick-slippery braids woven and knotted around her head, her face, her neck. He dug two old, heavy, silver dollars out of his collection and put them over her staring eyes and a huge copper English penny from his collection of old, worn, useless coins on her tongue. He bound her wrists, he bound her ankles, and when he wrapped her in canvas she was surrounded by every rose Swift Wing Florist on Irving & Kimball had in stock. And a small bunch of gerbera daisies, her favorite. It was time consuming messy painful work

Unfortunately none of it worked.
